Kicker created their L7 square subwoofers for people who want serious, unstoppable bass, and now their latest L7R Series subs give you that powerful performance with a more friendly price tag. The 45L7R122 12″ component subwoofer handles up to 600 watts RMS, enough power to fill any vehicle. Its innovative square cone moves much more air than a conventional 12″ round cone, and this sub’s made to take anything you can dish out.

The woofer’s injection-molded SoloKon™ polypropylene cone features special back bracing for extra stability, while heavy-duty red stitching connects the rubber surround to the cone. The steel basket offers the strength and stiffness that helps the cone maintain its shape during heavy play. The sub’s two 2-ohm voice coils give you extra flexibility in incorporating this sub into your system. And the UniPlate™ back plate and pole piece are made as a single, solid unit to allow heat to escape the motor more easily. This Kicker sub is designed to deliver the power of your music without compromise.
To drive this single subwoofer, we recommend a mono amplifier rated between 450 and 900 watts RMS at 1 or 4 ohms.
